Kids’ Carnival

Join the fun on Saturday, June 3! Families can enjoy an afternoon filled with kid-friendly games, crafts, entertainers, train rides and educational booths at Main Street Square. Kids’ Carnival is held in conjunction with Regional Health and Kohl’s Cares “Don’t Thump Your Melon” Program, which provides helmets to those in need, proper fitting of helmets, and bicycle safety education. Splash-through the interactive fountain for a quick cool down.

10th Annual Great Downtown Pumpkin Festival

Downtown’s biggest festival, The Great Downtown Pumpkin Festival, returns for a ninth year on Saturday, Sept. 30. Visit Main Street Square, venture down Sixth St., and into Memorial Park for a pumpkin catapult, giant pumpkin weigh-off, Downtown chef competition, Downtown pub crawl, the Regional Health and Scull Construction Kidz Zone, vendors and more. The community-wide celebration of harvest season brings an estimated 25,000 people together for a day of fall fun!

Scare in the Square

Tiny ghouls and goblins invade Main Street Square for an afternoon of ghostly family fun. Scare in the Square is held in conjunction with the Downtown Rapid City Business Group’s Downtown Trick-or-Treat.
