Custer State Park is hosting its sixth Annual Festival of Trees to celebrate the holiday season. The Festival of Trees is an opportunity for local businesses, civic organizations, and individuals to display a tree at the Custer State Park Visitor Center during the holiday season.
Visitors can walk through the beautifully decorated trees and vote on their favorite one. Voting on trees will begin December 6, 2021 and end on January 1, 2022 after the First Day Hike. The winner of the “favorite tree” will be announced via Facebook.
A park entrance license is required to enter the park and may be purchased at the Park Office from 8 am until 4:30 pm during the week, or at the Visitor Center (open 9 am to 4 pm). In observance of the holidays, the Visitor Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. For more information, please contact the Park Office at (605) 255-4515.
