New Years Chess Tournament hosted by Rapid City Area Scholastic Chess Club

The Rapid City Area Scholastic Chess Club invites you to their New Years Kick Off Tournament!
The schedule for the day is:
First round: 9:00 am
Second round: 10:20 am
Third round: 11:40 am
Lunch: 12:40-1:30 pm
Fourth round: 2:50pm
Award presentation around 3pm, or after all rounds have completed
Standard USCF game rules including “Touch Move.” Timers will be 30 minutes per player per game, approximately 1-hour per round (game) at maximum.
The club is offering a lunch special for players and their families:
1 slice of pizza (cheese or pepperoni), a side and a drink for $4
2 slices of pizza (cheese or pepperoni), a side and drink for $5
An email will be sent for attendees to sign up for lunch prior to the event.
