Your 2018 Kid’s Carnival Recap

The nostalgia of summertime carnivals is a feeling that so many of us can conjure in seconds. This kind of lasting memory is one of the reasons why Black Hills Family was thrilled to sponsor the 2018 Kids Carnival at Main Street Square. Plus, we had so much fun!

As 11 o’clock rolled around children and parents arrived at the carnival. Music and laughter filled the air while games and dancing filled the square. We set up our beanbag toss and lined up prizes and candy galore. Our bubble machine was running full blast and we had a great time chatting with parents about our magazines and upcoming events in the community, while the kiddos played games and rejoiced in their new prizes.

Smiling (yet admittedly a bit sweaty and sunburnt) we packed up and headed out – looking forward to another year of Kid’s Carnival fun!

“It was so much fun to see how surprised the kids were by how far they could throw a beanbag!”
– Erin Schaefer, Marketing Consultant

“It was great interacting with our Black Hills Family families on a personal level.”
– Natasha Moberly, Marketing Consultant

“Perfect day for a carnival – the sun was shinning there were lots of vendors and stands for the kids to play at. Mine loved the craft table – the Cheerio slingshot proved a big hit – I’m still finding Cheerios all over the house – thanks 🙂 The afternoon performances were great fun – especially the young vocalist – I think she was 11 – but wow she stooped the crowd in their tracks – what an amazing talent!”
– John Edwards, Creative Director
