Nurses of Excellence 2020 - Black Hills Family

Nurses play a crucial role in society; this year has really driven that point home. As healthcare workers on the front lines, they are rightfully being hailed as heroes who go to work every day despite the uncertainty of a global pandemic. Nursing is a selfless job that requires hard work and dedication, but also offers rewards few other professions can match.

Black Hills Family, along with Rapid City Medical Center and Black Hills Surgical Hospital, honors these exceptional medical professionals every year based on nominations from readers, parents, doctors, coworkers, and hospital staff. Because there are so many wonderful, hard-working local nurses, this year we are pleased to acknowledge the efforts of seven nurses who are outstanding in their field.
