Deadwood Archaeology Camp

Students entering grades 4-6 are invited to participate in a real archaeological dig at the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center. The camp focuses on site history, restoration process of an on-site cabin, and the importance of archaeology. Students should be prepared to be outside all day, will also have classes on orienteering, mapping and cataloging artifacts.
