Join us in Box Elder for Patriot Day on September 11th! Following the parade at 2:30 pm, there will be a gathering at 420 Villa Drive, where participants can enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, a free bouncy castle, cash prizes, a strongman competition, and a vendor fair. The Festival of Lights Parade is a favorite holiday tradition for many families within the community. Each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, more than 75 lighted floats and entries wind their way through Downtown Rapid City.

Taking place in downtown Custer, the annual Christmas parade starts at 5:30 pm and signals the kick-off of the holiday season in the Southern Hills. After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will appear at Way Park for the Memorial Tree Lighting Ceremony.
